Meet Bethany

Hi, I’m Bethany and I just turned 17 years old.  My friends all call me Lil’ Boo because I still look like I’m in 8th grade.  Whatever!  The best thing about finally being 17 is that my parents are starting to loosen up a bit!  They sometimes go out of town on the weekends and they’ve been letting me stay home by myself.  It’s great cause I finally feel like I can do the things that other kids get to do.

Sometimes I have some friends over who want to drink which is kind of freaking me out.  Not just because you can get totally busted for drinking when you are under 21 but they are doing it in my parent’s house! Some of them seem kinda out of control and I wish I knew what to do.  Why does everything have to be so complicated?

Last week at the movies I met a really cute guy and we’ve been talking online. He’s not in high school anymore and since he’s a little bit older, I’m not sure how to get him to like me.

I think I’m going to talk to Maria to see what she thinks I should do...
